| Well, this is going to be a pretty pointless post. I'll tell you that
upfront. I got a myspace. But I think xanga is better for getting stuff
out. Why not just write down my rant myself on good ole fashioned paper
and pencil? Cuz Iduhwanna. And I guess a new post would be nice.
*sigh* Such formalities have taken the fire out of my rant. I don't
even feel like ranting anymore. I think I will just go write it down.
Write something. The whole jist of the rant was that I miss Drew
terribly. But no one wants to hear about that. I think it takes me
longer to type what I want to say on this thing than it does to
physically write down what I want to say with no inhibitions. It's
exhausting to type this stuff. And I just don't have the energy or
desire to do this right now.
I hope everyone is having a fantastic Spring Break

| Okay,
I've tried updating this thing three times today but have gotten too
bored in the process and bailed out. Man, I'm A.D.D. today. I haven't
done crap with my exam reviews.
K, Focus! Umm...Districts are coming up in swimming. Aaaannnd...I'm racing the 500 Free for the very first time. At Districts.
I'm gonna probably get dominated. Cuz heck, I bet there are slim to
none doing a new event at Districts. But whatevs. I always sorta
thought I'd be a good distance swimmer. But my expected time to finish
the race is pretty bad. At least I'm doing 100 Breast too, so I'll have
an event I'm decent at.
Saturday,
I was at a debate tournament at Colleyville Heritage for
like...13 hours. And I totally made it to finals! And I totally got
last(6th) in finals...buuuuuuut I still beat out a ton of people so I
was still proud of myself. Although, I gotta mention that it was still
sorta disappointing cuz the chick who ended up winning wasn't
good. Her introduction was something I've read off of the internet. So
it most likely wasn't hers. And the way she talked put me to sleep. And
her entire speech wasn't supported by anything. And it was very boring.
But, she won. Good for her. I wish I had gotten a trophy
though...something to show for my hard work. Chloe Bennett is pretty
much my hero for helping me. Oh, and I met this kid named Morgan who
was very cool and kept me company a lot. He's quite entertaining and
his DI is one of the best I've seen. I made a fool of myself at
the ghetto awards ceremony Colleyville had, yet no one seemed to
notice! Ah well, I finally found my niche in debate. And I am very
happy about that. Now all I need to do is find my niche in swimming.
I'm getting there, though.
Life is good.

I just came back from a really fun night. Katria's Surprise? Party.
Yeah, I guess she was surprised? I haven't had that much fun in a
loooong time. Arrington, Chandler, and John, thank you so much for
coming and putting up with my terrible phone message leaving
skills. Tonight was just hilarious.
Hm...well
yeah, it's almost Christmas, which is weird. We don't even have a
Christmas tree yet. I've been getting down about all of this holiday
stuff. Ever since Stace left for college, my family just sorta
stopped with the Christmas enthusiasm thing. We don't have the advent
calendar up (which we used to fight about..who would get to put up this
and who would get to put up that), and we don't have any lights up
outside. Hah, my dad says we look like we're buddhists or something.
And he jokes about if the empty house next to ours looks more decorated
than ours. I don't understand how my favorite holiday turned into some
inconvenience. Too busy to get a tree, not worth it to put up lights,
too lazy to go in the closet and fish out some decorations. It
makes me sad the more I think about it. Something really good
needs to happen this Christmas. But I doubt anything will.
Anyway,
the Plano meet was baaaad. It ran an hour and a half late. We lost. I
managed to take a second off of my 200 IM time, but the rest of my
events were crap. Oh, and somehow ants got into my swim parka. So I had
a great time getting surprise ant bites. And Kerry had an asthma attack
I think? We had to call an ambulance. Scary stuff, but she's okay now!
Now I'm bored with writing. It's almost Winter Break!

| Awww, Sonuvabitch. My long, heartfelt update just got deleted by the computer. -_-
Okay, Highlights of the deleted entry:
-We
have a swim meet against Plano Senior tomorrow. I'm swimming the breast
leg in the 200 Medley relay, 200 IM, 100 Breast, and 200 Free relay. So
come see me
-I've become the girl to go to if you want to smile and giggle after a cruddy race somehow. It's kinda cool
-The guys in my lane during swim practice call me "Big T" now. That's kinda cool, too
-Tom is home from Trinity. Stace comes home soon, too. There's bridesmaid dress shopping in my near future
-I
swam about 3 hours today. And did some Vasa Trainer. And I ran with
Drew yesterday around the track. I'll probably make that an every
Sunday thing. So..call me if you want to join me.
And one more thing...
Attention, Everyone!
It is Katria Kendall's birthday in 2 days. So tell her happy birthday
or something. Because she's awesome. and she'll be 16. and she's done
spectacularly this year in swimming. And I basically love her.
Basically.
So yeah

| YAAYYY LICENSE!
The Age of
Tori Feeling the Effects of being Screwed Over has finally passed. And
it's nice. I almost didn't get it though because we got to the DPS and
I didn't know my social security number. But Spicklers are problem-solvers. So we solved the problem.
Afterwards,
my mom had to go get some sort of wine glass, so we went to Target.
Nice place for wine glasses in case you hadn't heard. I'm standing
in Target, holding a box of wine glasses, when I see a flask. Of course
when you see a flask your first reaction is to pick it up and open it.
I'm seriously contemplating purchasing the flask just for the sake of
it, when I look on the back and there's a sticker on it that says:
Warning:
This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to
cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.
I didn't buy the flask. (I just thought that was kinda funny/alarming)
Anyway....... I can drive now!
